Steps
- Pour the cola into a wide bowl and whisk for 2–3 minutes, until it stops fizzing.
- Stir 100 ml sour cherry juice100 ml sour cherry juice¼ cup + 3 tbsp tart cherry juice150 ml sour cherry juice150 ml sour cherry juice⅔ cup tart cherry juice into 330 ml cola330 ml cola1⅓ cups cola495 ml cola500 ml cola2 cups cola.
- Pour the base into an empty tubpint, up to the max fill line. Put the lid on and freeze on a level shelf for 24 hours.
- Take the lid off, set the tubpint in the outer bowl and lock it into the machine. Run Slushi.
To serve: Serve in tall glasses with a cherry on top.
Tips
- Use regular cola. Diet and zero-sugar colas freeze rock hard and will not turn slushy.
- Flatten the cola first. Fizz foams over the fill line and freezes into a bumpy, uneven top.
- Too thick to sip? Add 2–4 tbsp cold cola and run Re-spin.

Why it works
Regular cola has about 10% sugar, right in the slush range, and tart cherry juice adds flavor and color without changing that balance.
